Trillium Lakelands District School Board is dedicated to the training of all school staff in the area of restorative practices, with the goal of positively influencing behavior and strengthening school communities throughout the board. The use of restorative practices has been shown to reliably reduce misbehavior, bullying, violence and suspensions among students and improve the overall climate for learning .Trillium Lakelands District School Board believes that students are more likely to make positive changes when those in authority do things with them, rather than to them or for them.
